Daredevil street racer who taunted NY, NJ cops charged for string of robberies

The reckless street-racing YouTuber who once taunted New York City and New Jersey cops before his arrest has now been charged in connection to a string of burglaries in the Garden State.

Queens daredevil Antonio Ginestri, 19, was arrested again on Tuesday after Fairfield police connected him to a robbery at the Speedway gas station on Route 46 East on Feb. 6.

Footage from the gas station showed three suspects, one of whom was identified as Ginestri, burglarizing the establishment and racing away in a BMW x7 with a stolen New Jersey registration.

Fairfield police revealed Wednesday that the car was used in similar burglaries across the area, as well as other crimes committed in New York and Connecticut.

“Ginestri is a well-known social media influencer who goes by the handle ‘Squeeze.Benz,’” police said in a statement.

“The basis of his channel is to film himself driving hi-end cars in a reckless manner to entice a police response while wearing a full-face helmet to hide his identity.”

A 16-year-old, who was not named, was also arrested and charged in connection with Ginestri.

Ginestri, who had amassed more than 1 million social media followers over his reckless stunts, was first arrested in May for allegedly punching a man at the Steinway Deli, in Long Island City, on Feb. 10.

The investigation into the assault led police to uncover that Ginestri was the obnoxious YouTuber who had been plaguing the tri-state area with high-speed stunts on often crowded public streets.

Several videos also showed him taunting police officers as he performed donuts around patrol cars and then sped away through red lights in the middle of the night.

Ginestri had been slammed with reckless driving charges, along with charges of employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, theft and conspiracy.

Ginestri is currently being held in New Jersey’s Bergen County Jail.

His attorney, Stefan Erwin, did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
