Dave Coulier gives thumbs-up during chemotherapy amid cancer battle



Dave Coulier stays positive while struggling A “very aggressive” form of cancer.

The 65-year-old “Full House” star shared details about his cancer treatment by posting a photo on Friday. Instagram A story about giving a thumbs-up during chemotherapy sessions.

“Making a positive turn and sending love to all of you who are struggling and going through chemo,” Coulier wrote alongside the photo.

In the photo, Cullier had an IV line that appeared to be connected to a chemotherapy port in his upper chest, which may remain in place for weeks, months, or even years. Just two days ago Coulier revealed he had Diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, “a very aggressive form of cancer” In October. The comedian learned about his diagnosis when he had a severe cold and noticed swelling in his groin area. Those symptoms caused him to go to his doctor, who ran some tests.

“Three days later, my doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,'” Coulier told People,

He shared, “I walked out of there, I had a little head cold that I had cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming.” “It’s been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.”

“You hear chemo, and it scares the living daylights out of you,” he said. “The first round was quite intense because you don’t know what to expect. You don’t know how you will feel. Will it affect me immediately? Is it going to be devastating? “Should I leave here?”

Coulier revealed that he will receive six rounds of chemo every three weeks and is expected to complete his treatment in February.

talking with PeopleCoulier shared that his bone marrow test came back negative last week. The results meant that “at that point, my chances of being curable went from something like a low to a 90% range,” he explained. “And so that was a great day.”
