Dave Coulier still misses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, even though the siblings have distanced themselves from “Full House.”

However, he reunited with the twins in January 2022 at the funeral of his late co-star Bob Saget.
“When we saw them at Bob's funeral and his memorial, it was amazing,” Coulier said. “That's the only word I'm thinking of. It was amazing to see Mary-Kate and Ashley.”
The Olsen twins, 38, did not reprise their shared role as Michelle Tanner in the “Full House” reboot. They retired from acting and founded fashion brands The Row in 2006 and Elizabeth and James in 2007.

And so I went over there and sat down and I started playing, and all of a sudden, Mary-Kate came in and she sat down next to me, and then all of a sudden, Ashley sat down next to me.”
“The three of us were there just laughing and being like kids,” Coulier said. “It was amazing.”
Coulier is to appear here 90s Con in Florida this weekend with other “Full House” alumni including Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin.

“I don't know how well I would have interacted with people when I was eight months old,” he said of the sisters. “So, I think they have a different perspective on them. And their perspective on the show is different than ours.”
“I mean, they were in diapers,” he said. “They have a different perspective on what happened during that time. And we understand that and we love them very much.”
Coulier also said he was proud of the fact that Mary-Kate and Ashley I've known him since he was a baby.
“She's had a long journey and I respect her journey. To be a child actor at such a young age is a really tough life for a kid,” he said. “And we got to see that firsthand.”
Coulier added, “For all of our kids, they've had their ups and downs in life. But we're so proud of them. When you turn everything around and come out the other side and they're okay, that's a really great thing.”
