Dave Grohl is reportedly ready to end his marriage to Jordyn Blum in divorce.
The Foo Fighters frontman, 55, hired a divorce attorney ahead of announcing Tuesday that he had cheated on Blum, 48, and fathered a child from an extramarital affair, a source said. People This was said in a report published on Wednesday.
The Post has contacted Grohl’s rep for comment.
Grohl revealed his infidelity in a statement on Instagram.
“I recently became a father to a newborn daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the musician wrote on Tuesday.
He said, “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to earn their trust and their forgiveness.”
Their statement concluded, “We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved as we move forward together.”
A representative for Grohl told The Post there was no additional comment from the musician at this time.
The “Everlong” singer has been married to Blum since 2003. In a 2007 interview, he recalled meeting her in 2001 while going out with his bandmate Taylor Hawkins, who died in 2022.
“Taylor and I were hanging out in the Sunset Marquis whisky bar. Taylor was looking so good. I mean, girls would send him drinks. Some bombshell comes in and starts talking to Taylor. I'd just come out of a Tenacious D session. I've got Vans trainers on, no socks, dirty shorts and a dirty T-shirt, pretty Hollywood all around,” he explained Q Magazine In memory of his late bandmate.
“She pointed to her friend Jordan. I was like, ‘Oh my god. No chance!’ So I was just having a few drinks and acting like an idiot. And by the end of the night I was angry and I was staring at her like, ‘You’re my future ex-wife,'” he laughed. “So she gave me her number: ‘Jordan, your future ex-wife.'”
Blum has yet to issue a statement on his infidelity. His two older daughters, Violet, 18, and Harper, 15, have deactivated their Instagram accounts. It's unclear when the pages were shut down.
At last year's Glastonbury Festival, the proud father brought Violet onstage to perform a song from his band's latest album, “But Here We Are.”
“My favorite singer in the world,” he said enthusiastically. “It's a song I wrote for my mom, Violet's grandmother. It's 'Show Me How.'”
The couple has a third daughter, Ophelia (10 years).
Grohl confirmed in his statement that their fourth child is also a girl.
