Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum's tennis coach praised the couple just weeks before the Foo Fighters frontman dropped the shocking news that he had cheated on Blum and recently fathered a baby with another woman.
“So excited to see my students Dave and Jordan. They always look stylish on and off the tennis court,” Chris Crabb captioned a photo of the pair at Wimbledon. Instagram On July 8th.
“#tenniscoach #tennistips #tennistips.”
The coach immediately made headlines after Grohl's scandal broke, with rumors rife that the “hot” tennis coach had a “flirty” relationship with Blum, reports the Daily Mail. Grohl was also reportedly “jealous” of the situation.
However, the post dismissed these speculations.
“There's nothing going on with her tennis coach,” a source close to the pair told IANS. “He's married and his wife is friends with Jordan.”
The couple have been taking tennis lessons from Crabb for years, with Crabb even sharing a video of them together on the court in 2022.
Crabb has many other celebrity clients. According to his Instagram, he teaches Pete Wentz, Steve Carell, sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning, Zach Braff, Donald Faison and “Survivor” host Jeff Probst.
Last week, Grohl revealed in a post on Instagram that he had an affair.
“I recently became a father to a new baby girl, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote on Sept. 10. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
He concluded: “We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved as we move forward together.”
Grohl and Blum married in August 2003 and already have three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Blum has not commented on the controversy. In exclusive photos obtained by The Post, he was first spotted leaving a tennis class with Kris on Sept. 17.
Earlier this week, a source told The Post that Blum’s friends were feeling “sad” for her. “She is a good, wonderful woman.”
Although those close to her are concerned, they question whether Blum “knew” Grohl had gone the wrong way in their marriage but was unaware of the extent of it. They also wonder if this was the only time he cheated.
