Democrats looking to oust Mayor Adams in the 2025 mayoral race lashed out at the incumbent leader at a candidate forum in the Bronx on Saturday, where Hizzoner was conspicuously absent.

State Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani, who officially entered This week’s race pushed a plan for free and faster bus services, which he claimed could be paid for with better budget management and tax increases on the wealthiest New Yorkers.
