An enraged husband stabbed his wife to death at a massage parlor in Queens Tuesday night — while horrified customers watched, according to police and reports.
According to authorities and reports, Jiahai Ma, 25, stormed into the crowded Flushing business where 26-year-old Jui Mei Teng worked and stabbed her multiple times in front of customers and co-workers around 5:30 p.m.
When police arrived at the Spring Garden Spa, located on Kissena Boulevard and Barclay Avenue, Ma reportedly still had the bloody knife in her hand. ABC 7 reported,
Ma was arrested at the scene and charged with murder, intimidation, weapons possession, and harassment.
According to police, he has not been arrested previously.
His injured wife was rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital but could not be saved, police said.
Ma's arraignment was pending in Queens Criminal Court as of Wednesday afternoon.
