a Dunkin' employee A man in Illinois has unveiled one of the most “absurd” drinks ever created, naming the sugar-laden concoction “diabetes in a cup.”
Connor Duandivier filmed himself making the drink for an unidentified customer, which includes 10 caramel pumps, 15 sugar and 15 cream.
After taking to TikTok to show the stress that comes with such a bizarre request, he particularly noted the extremely low amount of actual java poured into the iced cup.
“Just about an ounce of coffee,” Duandivier, who shares a number of weird and funny orders on his TikTok page DunkinBandits, said in his video Nearly three million views,
A regular Dunkin' drink with two pumps of caramel typically has about 100 calories. According to MyNetDiary,
So, the caramel alone in Duandivier's drink contains 500 calories. And, According to EatThisNotThat! A standard cold drink with cream and sugar already contains 27g of the sweet stuff.
DuAndivier was quick to call the special order “diabetes in a cup” and said he was going to “pray for the customer.”
And, very quickly, what they saw on the Internet caused a sensation.
“An ounce of coffee?!” one commented, shocked by the drink's lack of caffeine.
“And I'm embarrassed by my 4 pumps of vanilla…” another added.
However, some people justified this shocking order, saying that there is a method behind this madness.
“This is what I do at the beginning of every week,” one person wrote. “I order a drink and then add something else to it [a small amount of it] I add it to my cold brew at home and it lasts all week and I’m saving money.”
“This is definitely going to be added to cold brew for the week,” said a fellow supporter. “Smart!”
