A Sydney dog owner fed up of being forced to clean up what she believes to be human waste from her dogs has branded Bondi as “public filth”.
Julia Sakr regularly walks her dogs in beachside suburbia, and says the occasion is often ruined by the sight of “human s–t”.
The woman says she knows it is human feces, because her dogs “gravitate” toward it and begin eating it as if it were a “delicacy.”
“The number of times I’ve had to clean human hair…that’s more than the fingers on both of my hands,” he said in a TikTok video.
He believed the Bondi Poopers were using the gutter to conduct their business, describing the gutter as a “little seat to sit on”.
“The places where these buds are are very ergonomic places,” she said.
“Like they’ve sat down, and they’ve done it with ease.”
The only explanation Ms Saker could think of was early morning joggers, who tend to defecate when there is no one around to see them, and when they have a sudden urge to defecate and are far from home .
“I want to know why there are so many girls in Bondi?” he asked.
“This is a serious question. Is everyone so healthy and they go running and they need to do something to make it where they are?
“Secondly, if that’s the case, are you just walking around with your cheeks between your cheeks?
“You haven’t even wiped and obviously you haven’t washed your buttocks either.”
It seems Ms. Saker wasn’t the only one to notice the poop.
“I caught two guys doing this in Bondi… yes, both were runners,” one person commented.
Another said: “One time we stayed in a nice hotel in Bondi and someone did something nasty up front.”
Public defecation is a crime in NSW.
Those caught face a maximum of three months in jail and/or a $660 fine.
