An elderly man and his daughter have been identified as the couple found strangled in a Brooklyn home on Sunday — and their relatives argue that the woman’s boyfriend, who is now in police custody, was also in the home at the time. Was inside, say police sources.
In the afternoon, a female relative witnessed the horrific scene inside the bloody Cypress Hills home, where 91-year-old Roosevelt Simmons and his daughter Jacqueline Delions, 66, were found dead, sources said.
The relative told police Delons’ 46-year-old boyfriend was also inside the home and told her, “You know what happened,” sources said.
Eric Brooks, who is Simmons’ grandson and DeLeone’s nephew, told The Post that his stepmother was the woman who made the grim discovery.
Sources said the boyfriend has been detained as a person of interest, but has not been charged in this senseless murder.
“He’s been with my aunt for over 20 years,” Brooks said of the boyfriend. “I don’t know if he still lived here or not.
“(He) was calm, not aggressive, as far as I know. … We want answers, no one knows what happened.
