Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have reportedly left the country after Donald Trump wins the 2024 US presidential election.
According to TMZ, the couple crossed the ocean to the Cotswolds in southwest England.
DeGeneres endorsed the vice president online two months ago.
“There is nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for Kamala Harris to be our next President,” she wrote in the post.
After November 5, the couple has reportedly put their Montecito mansion up for sale and will also be selling another property in California.
Trump has said he plans to get rid of anyone who attacked or tried to undermine him after he leaves office in 2021.
“Wouldn’t it be terrible to put the president’s wife and former secretary of state in jail?” Trump tells Newsmax about Hillary Clinton. “This is a terrible, terrible path that they are taking us down and it is very possible that the same will happen to them.”
