Musk said he did nothing wrong by allegedly telling Lemon there was “no need” to sign the contract. It was inappropriate for Lemon to rely on a statement rather than a written contract for a multimillion-dollar partnership, Musk said.
Lemon’s attorney Carney Shegerian said X’s response confirms that Musk fired Lemon after the reporter asked him questions Musk didn’t like.
