Media Take Out has more details on the tragic death of 34-year-old legendary hip hop artist, Rich Homie Quan.
The rapper passed out after taking a pill that he was told was “Percocet,” and it killed him.
We spoke to a close friend of the rapper and he told us what really happened.”[Rich Home Quan] He was not a drug addict as is being shown on social media. He may have done something before, but he was far away from all this.” The friend explained.
“He was drinking and smoking a little marijuana, but he was not on any hard drugsThe friend further said.
But two nights earlier, the rapper had allegedly taken a pill — which was given to him — which Quan believed was a “perk.” Media Take Out is not at liberty to reveal where he got that pill from.
The friend added, “It was just one pill and it took his life. He was just experimenting.”
“All these people are taking a lot of pills and stuff and nothing happens. Quan took one pill and his life was over,” the distraught friend told Media Take Out.
Rich Homie Quan's family is looking for answers – and they're hoping they'll come soon. Media Take Out spoke with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office and they told us the autopsy is scheduled for today, Friday, September 6.
