The former couple, who met on the 2023 season of the Channel 7 show, said the wedding was postponed in July due to “reasons beyond our control”.

“You can’t force someone to marry you,” she said, “He wanted some space so I went to Darwin for the dry season and it really slowed down after that.
“Now we are not in touch at all. It has been a terrible time.”

“Amidst all this, an extraordinary woman won my heart and we decided to give it a try.
“We started living together, dreaming of a future where our love would grow along with the farm. It was fast-paced, exciting and fun.
“But life had other plans.
“Despite so much love and effort from both of us, sometimes things don’t work out.
“Living together had its challenges, and we realized that our paths were not meant to intersect.”
He said it was “sad” that the relationship ended, but he “gave my all for it”.
“Although it didn’t take us where we hoped, it helped us grow. This is a huge outlay of heart and soul. And while walking away is painful, we have both become stronger, wiser, and more attuned to what really matters.

Following their engagement, the Sodners and Coleman spoke openly about starting a family and said they were eager to take their relationship to the next step.
