Farmer Wants A Wife star Claire Saunders has issued an urgent warning to her followers after a recent health scare.
Claire, who found love with farmer Andrew Coleman on the 2023 season of the hit Seven show, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a picture of herself with a small, barely noticeable bandage on the left side of her face.

“Today I am lucky and grateful,” the post was captioned.
“My mum said to me about 6 months ago ‘you should really go and get that looked at, it doesn’t look right’, referring to a little pimple mark I had on my face.
“I brushed it off and of course didn’t listen to my mum, until it came back another 4 times and then I finally got around to getting it looked at.
“I went to the doctor and got a skin check, biopsy and to my absolute shock it turns out I have early stages of skin cancer.
“I’m lucky because we got it early enough to start a course of creams, which will hopefully fix it.”
Claire said she had worn sunscreen every single day for as long as she could remember because of her heritage.
“I’m Aboriginal so when my skin sees the sun my pigment goes crazy dark, but I didn’t once think of wearing it to prevent cancer,” she wrote.
“This is your reminder to GET YOUR SKIN CHECKED!
“@australianskincancerfoundation have a mobile truck that is free, look them up and go see them x.”
Claire finished off her post with the hashtags #skincheck and #dontwaitfortomorrow.
Her followers thanked her for the important reminder, with some sharing sad stories about family members.
“My aunt just passed from melanoma at age 59,” one person wrote.
“She didn’t have her checks until it was too late. Big love and thank goodness you caught it in time.”
“So important! Glad you’re okay,” wrote another.
“Thank you for sharing this lovely lady. You may have just saved a life,” added a third.
Others loved the fact that Claire had acted on her mum’s advice.
“Mum’s always right,” one person said. “You were lucky.”
“Always trust mum,” agreed another.
“Keep going strong.”
Several followers said Claire’s message had given them the wake-up call they needed.
“Thanks for the reminder, I keep moving it down my ‘To Do’ list,” one person wrote.
“Aw babe, how frightening,” said another.
“I have been meaning to have a skin check for so long, this has kicked my butt to make an appointment.
“Please take care angel.”
