Fortnite and its connection with server problems is now becoming a part of our lives. With players excited for its latest 5v5 game mode Ballistic, not everything is going so smoothly. Just when all the players went in to play fortnite ballistic In Early Access, everyone fell victim to a matchmaking error.
A lot of errors are occurring in matchmaking that prevent players from entering the much-awaited game mode. Officer @FortniteStatus The X account shared a post acknowledging the issue. Although there is no timeline for the servers coming online yet, there are plenty of players waiting in the Fortnite lobby to join the latest 5v5 game mode.

Initially, I ended up with a “Matching error #1, unknown error, maybe try again? (match.failed_to_ontain_link_code.404)”While I thought the game wasn’t working for me, I checked the socials, and this was the case for many others. a user with the name @waxpen_ Asked on x if anyone from NA East is getting the Fortnite ballistic matchmaking error.

Then I tried restarting the game and checked if the error persists. And guess what happened? I got a new error message. said this time “Matchmaking error #2, we failed the cook request for the client. invalid_json.” Well, that still means my Fortnite ballistic matchmaking is still not working.
