Fox Entertainment and Hulu announced a multi-year content deal on Thursday under which the Walt Disney-controlled streaming platform will retain streaming rights to Fox’s extensive programming slate.
The deal includes an expansion of their platform marketing arrangement, reportedly worth more than $1.5 billion over four years. as per deadline,
The new deal is based on the partnership between both the companies more than two yearsA period that saw an increase in consumer interest in streaming platforms, prompting traditional television companies to seek partners for their shows and movies.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Fox’s prime-time entertainment programming – including “The Masked Singer,” “The Simpsons,” and “Family Guy” – will continue to stream on Hulu the day after broadcast.
Lauren Tempest, general manager of Hulu, said, “Our collective marketing efforts, which will continue with this new deal, have generated impressive results and have successfully helped viewers find the shows they want to watch.”

The deal also includes the renewal of an agreement that allows Hulu to stream out-of-season episodes of many of Fox’s unaired programs.
