NBA legend Dwight Howard, who was revealed to be secretly gay last year, recently announced that he is engaged to a beautiful black woman named Amy Luciani.
The two have been friends for years – after meeting in Atlanta – and their relationship recently turned romantic.
And Amy, a successful businesswoman, doesn’t mind that her fiancé has been secretly dating men and trans people.
Amy proudly posted videos of herself and Dwight on her social media. Comments on the post are mostly positive. But some people here are making insensitive comments – like suggesting she should get tested for terminal illnesses before walking down the aisle.

Dwight was sued in 2021 by a man who claimed that Dwight **had* sexually assaulted him. The man claimed that Dwight was “gay” and living a closeted lifestyle.
Dwight ultimately admitted in legal documents that he engaged in “consensual sexual activity” with a man named Stephen Harper during an encounter at Howard’s Georgia residence in July 2021. According to the filing, Howard denied that he caused any injury to Harper.
In the original complaint filed in July, Harper’s lawyers said she and Howard first began communicating via direct messages on Instagram in May 2021, with Harper initiating the exchange. Harper accused Howard of sexually assaulting her during an encounter in July 2021 at Howard’s home.
