Gen Z obsessed with new, waitlist-only text message app Daze



It’s the most popular messaging app on the market – but it’s not even available yet.

Days, a new app designed for the younger generation, is making waves online even before its official launch in the coming weeks. And even though it has yet to launch, it already has over 100,000 followers tiktokWhere the post is viewed thousands if not millions of times.

“Our goal with Days is to create a feature-complete messenger that is competitive with iMessage, WhatsApp, etc., while still having a suite of really fun and creative features,” founder Willem Simons, a New York-based entrepreneur, said. told TechCrunch,

The interface takes a freeform approach to messaging – like creating an Instagram Story, the app allows users to experiment with text placement, fonts, and colors instead of uniform message bubbles.

“You can quickly type a message and press send, or drag the message anywhere within the chat,” Simmons said. “It’s easy to use and useful, but also very free and unrestricted.”

And it seems to be a hit among the tech-savvy generation, who are appreciating the beauty of the app on social media.
