The source also claimed that Affleck had “erratic mood swings,” which contributed to their separation.
“The truth is there was a lot of love, but unfortunately it also became apparent that Ben had mood swings that he couldn't hide from the press, no matter how hard he tried,” the insider claimed. “You could see erratic behavior, big mood swings.”
The “Argo” star will reportedly go from being “incredibly happy and warm — the best light coming out of him” to “the darkest, darkest behavior.”
“I think that’s the message he was conveying to the press,” the source told the outlet. “But when mood swings and major ups and downs informed a toxicity that was omnipresent, no one can help you — you have to help yourself.”
“But I wouldn't dare say there isn't love – of course there is,” the insider concluded. “The world was happy for them, but who he said he was and who he turned out to be were two different people.”
