A Jetstar flight to Bali was forced to turn back and return to Adelaide due to broken toilets.
Flight data shows the flight took off from Adelaide to Denpasar at 7am, but did not leave the state despite being required to return.
According to FlightAware, flight JQ125 took off at 7:14 am and returned to its departure gate at 9:52 am.
“Yes, we are on board. Had to turn back after deciding the toilets didn’t work. “Just changed planes and am about to leave for the second time,” wrote one on a popular Facebook group for Bali travelers.
“The onboard toilets stopped flushing,” Jetstar told news.com.au, adding, “As the problem could not be rectified en route, the flight returned to Adelaide, where our engineers could resolve the problem “
The passengers were transferred to a replacement plane, which took off at about 11 p.m. local time, which has not yet returned.
