A corrupt Connecticut middle school guidance counselor who allegedly sent nude photos and made a 13-year-old student perform lap dances was pictured leaving court Tuesday for the first time since his arrest in July.

The messages included explicit photos of Melchion, a married mother of three, and information about money transactions, according to the police document.
When contacted by police, the teen told investigators she had received nude photos from Melchione and payments of Uber rides, meals and $100 around Christmas last year, according to the affidavit. Reported by NBC Connecticut,
According to both outlets, the affidavit states that the student also said the teacher performed “lapdances” and other sexual acts on her.
The New Canaan resident was seen leaving Connecticut Superior Court in Stamford after a hearing Tuesday with his attorney, Mark Sherman, who declined to comment for the Post.
The former Nathan Hale Middle School employee was arrested July 11 and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and injury to a minor. Norwalk police said,
He resigned from Norwalk Public Schools on June 14, according to a district spokesperson.
“The safety of our students is our first concern,” the school system said in a statement in July, according to NBC CT. “Luisa Melchion no longer works at Norwalk Public Schools.”
“Norwalk Public Schools is cooperating with the Norwalk Police Department's investigation and has no further comment.”
Sherman, a Stamford-based criminal defense attorney, told The Post after the arrest that Melchion “is still fully entitled to the presumption of innocence.”
“These are simply allegations. We know these allegations are being made against a devoted wife and mother who has devoted over 21 years to her profession, and this matter will take some time to investigate,” Sherman said.
Melchione is currently under house arrest and is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors, except for his three children. He posted a $500,000 bond following his indictment in July.
