Korean stars like YoonA are known to hold strong real estate portfolios. The Girls’ Generation member had purchased a building in Gangnam, one of South Korea’s poshest areas, back in 2018. According to Allkpop, the Dosan-daero property was completed in 2014 and came equipped with four floors above two basement floors.
YoonA — who was last seen in King the Land opposite Lee Jun Ho — had purchased the building under her name for ₩10 billion (approximately Rs 60 crore) at the time. Reportedly, she invested ₩4 billion (approximately Rs 24 crore), excluding loans. In June 2023, YoonA sold the building for ₩24.3 billion (approximately Rs 146 crore), at a rate of ₩172 million (approximately Rs 1 crore) per pyeong (Korean sq ft). The property has a land area of 141 pyeong (approximately 5,017.23 sq ft). However, News1 reported that the actual market value of the building is ₩25 billion (approximately Rs 150 crore).
YoonA’s real estate deal resulted in a profit of almost $11 million (approximately Rs 91 crore). This would mean that the actress’ massive net worth now stands at $31 million (approximately Rs 259 crore.

YoonA and Lee Jun Ho’s chemistry in King the Land was the talking point in 2023, as it was their first on-screen collaboration. The idol-turned-actress will next be seen in Pretty Crazy opposite Ahn Bo Hyun, which also marks her first on-screen collab with the actor.
