Richard Karn looks and feels better than ever.

“Suddenly, you have food on the set. You can eat whatever you want. You were going to events where they would give you food,’” he recalled.

Since losing 30 pounds, Karn said he is “about where I wanted to be” in terms of weight but he thought he “looked too thin.”
Karn worked with Tim Allen on “Home Improvement” 30 years ago.
The pair reunited for the show “Assembly Required” in 2021.
Last year, Allen, 71, said the “Home Improvement” cast “keep talking” about doing a reboot or spinoff.
“It’s funny, one of the conversations we’ve had recently is how weird it would be if home improvement was about kids’ kids,” he told Messenger. “Like if they all had kids, and I was a grandparent. Home improvement or something like that. This has come to light.”
However, Patricia Richardson, who played Alan’s wife Jill Taylor on the show, Denied that she was ever in discussions for a reboot earlier this year.
“It was so weird, I had heard that he was coming out publicly and saying these things to everyone that he was on board for the ‘Home Improvement’ reunion, but he never asked me and he never asked [series co-star] jonathan [Taylor Thomas],” Richardson said in an episode “Back to the best” podcast.

On the show, Allen played Tim “The Toolman” Taylor, the host of a home-improvement show and father of three sons.
Allen’s children were played by Taran Noah Smith, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, and Zachary Ty Bryan.
