A terrifying dashcam video captures the moment a Texas mother was crushed to death by a policeman in front of her screaming children – as the officer’s distressed partner screamed: “Oh my God! You didn’t see them?”
Recently released footage shows 41-year-old Desire Pool was struck and killed by a Houston police cruiser while crossing the street with her son and daughter at around 10 pm on September 19. ABC 13 reported,
Dashcam captured Officer Shelby Kennedy driving down the road when Poole and her children suddenly appeared.
The clip shows the policeman attacking the mother of four at full speed as her children managed to jump out of the way.
“wow wow wow. O my King God! You didn’t see them?” Kennedy’s partner, Officer Joshua Rosales, screamed seconds after being hit by the pool.
“No,” Kennedy replied.
“Oh my f–king God, Kennedy,” Rosales repeated.
Kennedy’s bodycam captured the distraught child victim crying uncontrollably as officers performed CRP on her.
“My mother! You all killed my mother,” one of the children can be heard shouting.
“Mom, don’t die on me…come, pray, pray.”
Officials said Poole was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Police said the two officers were escorting an arrested suspect to the border when the accident occurred.
Investigators do not believe speed was a factor, but they have not disclosed how fast the officer was driving at the time.
The department is still investigating the accident.
