Close friends of Dave Grohl's wife Jordyn Blum have revealed how the mother of three reacted to the rock star's news that he has fathered a daughter with another woman.
According to a source close to the interior designer, Blum, 48, has known about Grohl’s new baby “for some time.” People,
“She was shocked when she found out about the baby. Her friends are like family, and they stood by her,” another friend of Blum's told the outlet.
“Dave's flirty behavior is hurting their marriage,” the insider said. “It's been hurtful for Jordan.”
Grohl, 55, revealed he cheated on Blum and fathered a child with another woman. an instagram post On 10th September.
“I recently became a father to a newborn daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the Foo Fighters frontman wrote.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
“We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved as we move forward together.”
At the time, a representative for Grohl told The Post that there was no additional comment from the musician.
Some of Grohl and Blum's friends were reportedly not surprised by the news.
“We keep reading over and over again how sad everyone is because Dave was supposed to be a ‘nice guy,’ a rockstar who didn’t need to do rockstar things,” a source who knows the couple told People. “And people are crazy about the guy, but he has a rockstar side, too.”
The friend also said that the couple's marriage “seems like an opposites attract type (of relationship).”
Blum is reportedly not letting the scandal distract her from her kids. “She is a great mother and very devoted to her daughters,” the source said.
The Post has contacted representatives for Grohl.
The rocker and the former model met in 2001 and married in 2003. The couple has three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Though the two looked happy together while attending Wimbledon in July, Blum was spotted without a wedding ring in August, just weeks before Grohl shared his shock announcement with the world.
Two days after Grohl publicly admitted his infidelity, a person claiming to be his mistress posted a photo of a baby, alleging that the infant was the rocker's daughter; however, his team quickly dismissed the viral post as fake.
