In Squid Game Season 2, he met Jung Bae as a fellow contestant and yes, he is the same person we saw with Gi-hun in the early episodes in the first season. Jang Bae was killed by Frontman or In-ho in Squid Game 2
In the Squid Game season 2 finale, we see Gi-hun and Jang Bae surrender after running out of ammunition. When they are captured by the masked men, Frontman or In-ho appears and asks Gi-eun if he enjoyed playing the hero in the game. He points a gun at Gi-hun’s head but shoots Jung Bae as punishment for attempting to shut down Gi-hun’s game. Thus, Jung-bae was killed by In-ho or Frontman in Squid Game Season 2.
Now that Jung Bae is dead in Squid Game, we can see Gi-hun taking revenge on the frontman for killing his friend in Squid Game season 3.
Who played Jung Bae in Squid Game?
Jang-bae was played by Lee Seo-hwan in Squid Game. He is known for appearing in popular titles such as The Devil Judge (2021) and Gangnam B-Side (2024).
