How Did Jung Bae Die in Squid Game Season 2?


The next season of the Squid Game has arrived and Gi-hun is on a mission to shut down the game forever. However, he is participating in the games again to warn other players and reveal the creator of the deadly games. In Squid Game Season 2, he met Jung Bae as a fellow contestant and yes, he is the same person we saw with Gi-hun in the early episodes in the first season. So, how did Jung Bae die in Squid Game Season 2?

Jang Bae was killed by Frontman or In-ho in Squid Game 2

In the Squid Game season 2 finale, we see Gi-hun and Jang Bae surrender after running out of ammunition. When they are captured by the masked men, Frontman or In-ho appears and asks Gi-eun if he enjoyed playing the hero in the game. He points a gun at Gi-hun’s head but shoots Jung Bae as punishment for attempting to shut down Gi-hun’s game. Thus, Jung-bae was killed by In-ho or Frontman in Squid Game Season 2.

Now that Jung Bae is dead in Squid Game, we can see Gi-hun taking revenge on the frontman for killing his friend in Squid Game season 3.

Who played Jung Bae in Squid Game?

Jang-bae was played by Lee Seo-hwan in Squid Game. He is known for appearing in popular titles such as The Devil Judge (2021) and Gangnam B-Side (2024).
