About the role: Responsible for “ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes of some of the world’s most iconic buildings”, a royal sparky is tasked with the maintenance of the monarch’s official residences.

Tasks: Electrical fault finding, installation and system testing throughout the estate – with the goal of “preserving these remarkable buildings for future generations”.

Royal Engagement Team Leader

Location: Buckingham Palace

Starting salary: £45,500 – £50,000 (~$89,000) for 37.5 hours of work per week

About the role: Leading a team that shapes major programs and events for “Her Majesty”, this role – based out of the Office of the Private Secretary – will directly influence the King’s official events and public appearances.

Promoting “national unity” and “enhancing relations with the regions and the Commonwealth” are KPIs.

Duties: Liaise with private secretaries, oversee and execute royal functions, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Visitor Service Assistant/Warden

Location: Palace of Holyroodhouse

Starting salary: £23,400 ($46,000) for 37.5 hours of work per week

About the role: Acting as “the face of the Royal Collection Trust”, service staff are tasked with sharing knowledge about royal sites and history, as well as ensuring visitors have an “unforgettable experience” Got experience.

Function: Provide tours of the facilities and educate visitors about the royal collections and historic palaces.

All of the above roles include a minimum of 25 days annual leave, 15 per cent super contribution, paid parental leave, gift shop discounts and complimentary on-site lunch.

Other vacant roles include sous chef, arts logistics coordinator, collections management assistant and additional kitchen positions.
