In 2022, Shilpa Shetty Kundra collaborated with Sandeep Mane to start her VFX studio — SVS Studio. According to an Economic Times report, the actress-entrepreneur invested Rs 10 crore in the business. Sharing her views on venturing into the VFX industry, she said, “I am excited to venture into the VFX industry, being a part of the film industry, I understand the importance of good VFX. It can make or break a movie. Our focus is on providing production houses in India and across the globe with world-class quality VFX.“
2. A successful restaurant chain (Bastian)
The multi-talented Bollywood actress co-owns a popular fine-dining restaurant chain called Bastian. In 2019, she acquired a 50% stake in the restaurant chain from hotelier Ranjeet Bindra-owned Bastian Hospitality. A new outlet of Bastian was opened on the top floor of Kohinoor Tower (Mumbai) in 2023, offering a 360-degree view of the maximum city.
