Italian village is offering $1 homes to Americans looking to flee after Trump’s victory



An Italian village is offering villas for $1 to Americans who were threatened and then tried to flee the country. Donald Trump’s decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election,

The village of Ololai, located in central Sardinia, is offering real estate for as little as $1.06 to lure ex-pat lifestyle-loving Americans in the wake of the Nov. 5 election results. According to a new statement From the commune d’Ololai.

This promotion boasts a beautiful climate, incredible food and ancient traditions that provide a healthy and fulfilling life.

The mayor of Ololai city says Americans are their target buyers.

“We really want to focus on Americans first and will focus on them,” Mayor Francesco Colombo said. told CNN,

“We certainly can’t restrict people from other countries from applying, but Americans will have a fast-track process. We are betting on them to help revive the village, they are our winning cards.”

Ololai recently received more than 38,000 requests for information on homes, most of which came from the US, CNN reported.

According to the outlet, Mayer has also created a special team to help guide international buyers through every step of the buying process.

Ololai lives in the center of the province of Nuoro in Sardinia.

The area is world famous for being one of five places in the world considered a “Blue Zone”.

“Blue Zones” are places around the world where people’s life expectancy is higher than average.

According to the National Institute of Health, the average life expectancy in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia is 79 years for men and 85 years for women.

Mediterranean islands also have about ten times more centenarians than average.

Ololai says they are one of the first cities in Europe to offer the now famous $1 deals for villas and houses.

This offering, coupled with the concept of economic revitalization, has become the cornerstone of real estate in the Old World.

These bargains are for properties that require a significant amount of renovation.

The city is also offering housing that is more expensive but requires less investment to achieve livable standards. Ready-to-occupancy homes are priced from $105,000.

According to the advertisement, photos of homes and potentially purchasable properties will appear on the website in the near future.

Most of the houses are located in the historic center of the city.

The village remains “half-empty”, Mayor Colombo told CNN.
