Jay-Z rape accuser admits inconsistencies in lawsuit during ties with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

The Alabama woman who accused Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 more than two decades ago acknowledged several inconsistencies in her lawsuit — while the hip-hop mogul continues to deny those allegations which he is facing.

The alleged victim had trouble remembering key details of the allegations against the musician An interview with NBC NewsJust days later, his lawyer amended a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs to also include Jay-Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter.

According to the disturbing lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York on Sunday, she accused the pair of raping her after a party for the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in the Empire State.

“Honestly, what is most obvious is what happened to me and what path I took to make it happen to me. Everyone’s faces are not that clear there,” the woman told NBC.

“So I’ve made some mistakes. “Maybe I have made a mistake in identification.”

The woman – referred to as “Jane Doe” in her suit – claimed her father raised her after allegedly sexually assaulting her, which he has since lashed out at.

He was also accused of talking to a celebrity after the party, who was not in New York at the time of the event, NBC reports.

Based on images from that evening, the pair of musicians were also in different locations than the one described by the woman.

Despite the discrepancies, the alleged victim says what happened to her was a “devastating event.”

The woman – referred to as “Jane Doe” in her suit – alleged that she was approached by Combs’ alleged limo driver, who invited her to an after-party while she was trying to get to the 2000 VMAs in New York City. Was getting it done.

When she arrived at the residence after the party, she alleges she was asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

The “Empire State of Mind” rapper criticized the alleged victim and her attorney, Tony Buzbee, for filing a “false complaint” while continuing to argue that “the incident did not occur.”

“This incident didn’t happen and yet they filed it in court and doubled down on it in the press,” Jay-Z said in a statement.

“True justice is coming. We fight to win, not to win. It was over before it even started. This 1-800 lawyer doesn’t realize it yet, but, soon.”

He previously called the lawsuit a “blackmail attempt.”

Lawyers for the 24-time Grammy Award winner, who filed a motion earlier this week asking the court to dismiss the claims and make public the identity of his accuser, dropped his request for dismissal after the NBC story broke. Another resolution was filed on Saturday night in support.

“These astonishing revelations make clear that the complaint filed by plaintiffs’ attorney, Anthony Buzbee, had no factual basis at all,” Alex Spiro said in the latest motion.

“Even Mr. Buzbee is withdrawing the complaint in which he named himself – excusing these apparent inconsistencies by pointing the finger at a matter referred to him by another firm who allegedly investigated the matter before sending it to him. The story was investigated. The heinous allegations against Mr. Carter are patently false.

Buzbee, the woman’s lawyer, said the case was referred to him from an outside agency, which he claims investigated before pursuing charges. He said he is still working on investigating the allegations, the outlet reported.

“Our client is absolutely adamant that what he said is true to the best of his recollection,” Buzbee said.

“We will continue to investigate her claims and collect corroborating data to the extent it exists. Because we have interrogated her thoroughly, she has also agreed to take the polygraph. I’ve never had a customer suggest that before.”

He said the alleged victim experienced seizures and sought medical treatment due to stress.
