The magazine claimed that the two were having an affair and that Obama’s wife Michelle ‘cheated’ on him.
“Oh shut up!” Aniston said when Kimmel showed her the magazine.
“Of all the calls you get from your publicist you just go ‘Oh no, what’s going to happen?’ Or you get an email saying some sleazy tabloid is going to do a story – and then that’s it,” she said, laughing.
“I was not angry about it. This is absolutely false.”
The former Friends star said she met the 44th President of the United States only once and “knows Michelle better than him”.
Aniston and Michelle Obama both appeared together on The Ellen Show in 2018.
The actress has publicly expressed her support for the Obama family and shared a photo of Michelle Obama and Vice President Kamala Harris meeting for the first time at the 2020 inauguration of current President Joe Biden.
This came as Obama celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary and shared a photo on social media in which they are seen embracing while visiting the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York on Friday morning.
