Jennifer Garner never thought she’d become an actress — let alone an A-lister on the big screen.
The “13 Going on 30” star made the surprising revelation while chatting with her best friends Molly Sims and Emcee Gromley. “Lipstick on the Rim” Podcast Released on Tuesday.
“I didn’t think it was a possibility,” Garner said. “I didn’t think about it anyway. There are many things I always wanted to do. I still feel the same way. I’m still like in my fifties, I’m going to go back to school and study.”
She added: “But it was just the way I did it. And it was an extracurricular activity that took over my life. And so, I danced every day after school.
Emmy-nominated actress, born in Texas but grew up in Charleston, West VirginiaHad a busy schedule as a teenager. She taught ballet to young children, took dance lessons after school, and practiced for the dance company where she lived or at a community theater.
The artist said she often hung out with her mentor Nina Denton Pasinetti, who encouraged her to pursue both dance and then acting.
“So I was pretty myopic, but… my dad would sit me down and say, ‘Jennifer, it’s wonderful that you’re doing this, but don’t you have to study and focus on something real? Should it be done?’ ” He said According to Fox News.
Sims suggested that the “Deadpool and Wolverine” leading lady was “chasing a dream” to pursue the arts but the star quickly clarified that was not the case.
“It wasn’t like it was a dream. It was a love. I was chasing a love. “I had a lot of love for it and wanted to do it and I still feel that way,” Garner said.
Despite Garner not being thrust into the spotlight at a young age, she moved to Los Angeles in the ’90s when she was offered a role in “Felicity.”
By 2001 she starred as Agent Sidney Bristow in “Alias” and has since made a name for herself in major films such as “Pearl Harbor,” “Electra” and “Juno.”
The women of the podcast did not touch on Garner’s 2018 divorce from actor Ben Affleck. Garner has three childrenViolet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Affleck.
Engagement rumors have surfaced Recently, Garner was seen wearing a gold ring.
She has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018 – the same year Garner and Affleck finalized their divorce – but there has been no official announcement of an engagement.
