Jennifer Lopez isn't letting her divorce from Ben Affleck hinder her promotion of the movie she made with her estranged husband.
Lopez, 55, is reportedly “excited” to head to the Toronto International Film Festival this week, where she will attend the premiere of “Unstoppable,” a sports drama she and Affleck co-produced, in which she plays a supporting role.
Affleck, 52, will not be attending the event, but his best friend and producing partner, Matt Damon, will.

“It's a true life story that is very inspiring and he is proud to be a part of it. Acting in the film was a high point for him,” the source added.
“Unstoppable” tells the true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and defied expectations to win a national championship in college wrestling in 2011. Lopez plays Robles’ mother.
The film, based on Robles’ autobiography of the same name, stars Jharrel Jerome (“Moonlight”) as Robles and features a star-studded supporting cast that includes Bobby Cannavale, Don Cheadle and Michael Pena.

But she doesn't plan to stay in Toronto after that. “It will be a short visit,” the insider said. “She won't be in Toronto for very long as she has other things to attend to.”
Some of these “other affairs” may be connected to the dissolution of her marriage to Affleck.
Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20, which happened to be her and the “Argo” director's second wedding anniversary.
According to one report, some of the other producers of “Unstoppable” were reportedly “pressuring (Lopez and Affleck) to come together to the premiere in Toronto to discuss the film.” daily Mail Source.
However, his bid was unsuccessful.
In March 2023, Affleck spoke about the “joy” of working with Lopez on “Unstoppable” in an interview CBS Sunday Morning,
“How fun, how fulfilling it is to do something with him, to watch him be great, to go to work with his wife, to go to work with his best friend,” the Oscar winner added.
He added, “If you don't like who you're working with, and if you're having difficulty or trouble at work, I think that's one of the things that can really cause depression, anxiety and pain for people.”
“And vice versa, (if) you love the people at work, you're probably going to have a pretty good life, you know?”
He also said, “Don't make it look like she's doing me a favor, but she really is.”
