Jennifer Lopez is speaking out about her breakup with estranged husband Ben Affleck.
“I was thinking about this time in my life, and I think, ‘It’s not going to be what I thought,'” she said of their breakup during a meeting for Interview magazine. ‘No, this is where I’m supposed to be, taking me where I want to go.’
Lopez was then asked if she regretted giving her love a second chance with Affleck.
“Not even a second. That doesn’t mean it didn’t creep me out almost forever. It’s almost done. But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, ‘Oh, this is what I needed.’ Thank God. I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m sorry you had to do this to me so many times. I should have learned it two or three times earlier. I understood. You had to hit me really hard on the head with a f**king sledgehammer. You dropped the house on me. Won’t have to do it again.
According to sources, Lopez filed the paperwork because Affleck reportedly had no interest in making their marriage work.
Sources close to Affleck claim that he is a “love addict” and that he is flirting with Lopez and has no desire to save their marriage.
