The first look photo of Emmy-winning “The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White playing Bruce Springsteen has been released.
White, 33, will play Springsteen, 75, in the upcoming biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” which will be set in the ’80s. The film has no announced premiere date yet.
The photo shows White in Springsteen’s signature look in a leather jacket and flannel shirt with ruffled hair.
Directed and written by Scott Cooper (“Crazy Heart”), “Deliver Me from Nowhere” is an adaptation of Warren Zanes’ book of the same name.
The story is about the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska”.
“There’s a lot of footage out there,” White told GQ.
“It’s really cool to go on YouTube and find her at all different times in her life and be able to hear her speaking voice as well as her singing voice. It’s kind of a deal, just hearing him a lot and seeing him a lot. “It’s been really fun to prepare.”

“Nebraska” does not contain some of Springsteen’s most famous hits such as “Born to Run” and “Born in the USA”, but does contain songs such as “Highway Patrolman” and “Johnny 99”.
Stephen Graham will play Springsteen’s father, Paul Walter Hauser will play guitar tech Mike Batalon, and Odessa is rumored to play Young’s boyfriend.
It would be a love interest for Springsteen’s wife and bandmate, Patti Scialfa, 71, as the couple married in 1991.
