This shows that the company will start using it smart spectrum managementAlong with some other advanced technologies like beam management, traffic steering and AI/ML-based energy efficiency. All of this will eventually result in your phone’s modern power being reduced, as spectrum bandwidth will only be allocated when needed. This will help in saving around 20-40% battery life, as claimed in the report itself.
Although we can’t be sure if this will have such drastic consequences, it will help your phone consume less battery when using mobile data on Jio 5G. The above measures will also provide better data speeds and less congestion, giving us a more stable network which has been a cause of contention with the company’s 4G LTE network.
Additionally, the network will also allow you to order or activate new SIM cards from the comfort of your home. This will completely eliminate the need to go to Jio Center, which used to become a problem for me when my SIM card stopped working.
