Love don’t cost a thing.
“The View” co-host Joy Behar took aim at the rumors that Ben Affleck, 51, and Jennifer Lopez, 54, are on the rocks.
“Not that we want to gossip about people. We don’t, because we’re talking about a friend of the show,” Behar said during Friday’s show, referring to how Lopez was recently a guest on “The View.”
She added, “When you go around shouting your love from the rooftops, it gets tricky when things don’t go well. My advice is keep your mouth shut,” the 81-year-old said.
Behar continued, “I don’t even tell [my second husband] Steve I love him in public. I don’t say it in private either, but still. Telling everybody how much you love each other and writing it on Instagram and on Facebook, and then you get a divorce and everybody says ‘Oh, you see!?’”
Affleck and Lopez were initially together from 2002 to 2004. After their first split, they each went on to marry and have kids with other people, before rekindling their relationship in 2021 and marrying in 2022.
They share a blended family of five kids. He shares kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Jennifer Garner, 52, while Lopez is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
But now, there are rumors that they may be heading for a split.
It was reported that Affleck is staying at a separate house from Lopez, and earlier this week, Lopez was seen house hunting, without Affleck.
And, on Thursday, the “Jenny From the Block” singer “liked” an Instagram post detailing the qualities of a partner that could lead to an unhealthy relationship.
The post explained that “you cannot build a healthy relationship with somebody” who “lacks integrity and emotional safety,” “doesn’t respect your time,” lacks “communication skills” and doesn’t have a strong sense of self.
Affleck seems to agree with Behar’s advice to keep their relationship private.
In Lopez’s doc, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” (now streaming on Prime Video), Affleck said that he refused to have their relationship broadcast on social media.
“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media,’” he said in the film.
Affleck added, “Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re going to marry a boat captain and (you’re like), ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’”
Behar’s “The View” co-host Ana Navarro chimed in that Lopez is “addicted to marriage, to love, to being part of a couple, to romance. She’s wonderful for the marriage industry.”
