His night was really ruined.
According to police, two men, one of whom was wearing a pink shower cap and hotpants, boarded an empty train at a Queens subway stop — and then crashed it after a brief moment of fun.
The pair, dressed in distinctive clothing, were caught on camera walking into an empty car at the Briarwood station just after midnight last Thursday, according to footage released by New York police late Tuesday.
“Two unidentified individuals entered an empty train and began driving it, causing a collision and damaging the train,” New York police said in an appeal for information about the two men who fled on foot.
It is not yet clear how they gained access to the train, or how they were able to operate it.
The NYPD did not immediately respond to the Post's inquiries about how long they had the train in place and how much damage was caused. However, police said no one was injured in the accident.
Police said the most distinctive-looking woman was of medium height, dressed in pink, wearing a shower cap as well as a crop top, hotpants and a bag.
The other was a thin man wearing a blue tank top, red shorts and carrying a black backpack.
