Jujutsu Kaisen’s Much-Awaited Merger Will Never Happen, and I Have the Proof

Kenjaku's master plan, the merging of Tengen with mankind, has been one of the most awaited events in Jujutsu Kaisen. The mastermind has been working on it for over 1000 years, and the 'Killing Game' was a ritual to prepare for the merger. However, as we approach the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, fans are eagerly waiting to see if the merger will happen or not. But I have proof that the much-awaited merger in Jujutsu Kaisen is never going to happen. Let's take a look at the facts.

Spoiler alert:
This article features heavy information about the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, specifically the Killing Game and Shinjuku Showdown arcs.

Before you learn that the merger will never happen, here is a brief summary of what a merger is to refresh your memory. So, remember Kenjakuthe opponent who Stole Geto's body and organized the Symphony of Chaos from the very beginning of the series. He had one goal in mind – to merge Tengen with humans.

He details his grand plan for merger Master Tengen and to bring a terrible curse into this world to the non-magicians of Japan. He wanted to kill two birds with one stone, i.e. optimize the cursed energy and fully satisfy his curiosity about the entity born from the merger.

Therefore, the mad magician formed and inaugurated the Kalinga Games to promote the merger process. However, he could not fulfill his ambition because Yuta Okotsu Before he could begin the merger process, he was killed.

Only Megumi has the power to pull the trigger

Kenjaku had created different rules for the Killing Game in order to continue playing it in order to achieve the merge at the end. He was always ten steps ahead of everyone and also calculated the scenario where he could lose his life. As a result, he created a backup rule that would be set in case he got killed. So, when Kenjaku lost to Yuta, The authority to activate the merger was handed over to Megumi Fushiguro In chapter 248.

At that time, Ryomen Sukuna was inhabiting Megumi's body, so basically, the King of Curses had the ultimate power to trigger the merger. This was a great plan B created by Kenjaku, who had complete faith in Sukuna to win against the sorcerers. Unfortunately for him, it didn't turn out the way he wanted from the beginning.

In the battle against Sukuna in Shinjuku, Itadori Yuji awakened his true cursed technique, opened his realm, and defeated the King of Curses, freeing Megumi from his control. According to the newly added rule in the Culling Game, the right to initiate the merge was given to Megumi, not Sukuna.

And now that Megumi's body and soul Not trapped by Sukuna And he is cured, we can be a hundred percent sure of that Megumi will never choose to activate the merger in her lifetime,

I discovered this rule while rereading the Shinjuku Showdown arc over the weekend, and I think a lot of JJK fans have forgotten this new rule that transferred the rights to Megumi. So, I thought of highlighting the concrete evidence from the mind of Gege Akutami and reminding everyone that the chances of a merge happening are very low, especially when there are only two chapters left.

I know many of you JJK fans have waited to see the merging by Kenjaku, but Akutami Sensei cancels it for a happy ending that brings (almost) everyone back to life.

Still, do you think the merger will still happen in Jujutsu Kaisen? Let us know in the comments below.
