During a recent performance in Chicago, Justin Timberlake thanked his fans for standing by him amid his recent legal troubles.
Sag Harbor Police Department released a statement saying the singer was pulled over because he “was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel.”
Justin told police officers that he had only consumed one martini, but witnesses say the pop singer was “wasted.”

“It was ascertained that the defendant was operating said vehicle in an intoxicated condition in that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” the police department stated.
The singer’s legal team vowed to fight the charge. The one DWI was reportedly because he refused to take a brethalyzer.
“We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights,” he told the crowd. “It’s been a tough week, but you’re here, and I’m here.
“I know I’m hard to love sometimes but you keep loving me right back.”
