killer guitarist kerry king A North American tour has just been announced, which will send him and his backing band – including Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph – to venues across the US and Canada in January and February.
At the end of a 28-concert run, they’re set to headline in New York City Irving Plaza on Friday, February 7 with special guests Municipal Waste and Alien Weaponry.
The nationwide tour is in support of his recently released debut solo album “From Hell I Rise” and follows King’s recent tour in support of Lamb of God and Mastodon.
King said, “We’ll be headlining on this next tour, so we’re playing a longer set than Lamb of God and Mastodon.” “We have got to learn a little bit, so we will start practicing in the first week of November. And we can throw an extra Slayer song in the set and learn a cover song or two.
