King Charles III and Queen Camilla Preparing for a big day in the nation’s capital.
The British royal family are expected to arrive in Canberra late on Monday morning, where they will visit the Australian War Memorial and the Australian National Botanic Gardens.

At the Botanical Gardens, they will meet with staff and volunteers to discuss the global impacts of climate change.
The King and Queen will meet Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at Parliament House where they will be welcomed with a 21-gun salute at around 1pm.
They will attend a reception welcoming political and community leaders and Australians who have excelled in health, arts, culture and sport.
Inside the Great Hall of Parliament, Albanese and his fiancee Jodie Hayden will host a reception.
Charles and Camilla will then separate for personal events.
The King will visit CSIRO and meet scientists who will talk about their work to tackle the impact of the bushfires in Australia.
Meanwhile, Camila will take part in a discussion on family and domestic violence and meet representatives of GIVIT Australian charity of which she is patron.
Road closures are expected across the city and travelers are advised to leave plenty of time.
This is Charles’ 17th visit to Australia, with the most recent visit taking place in 2018.
However, this would be his first visit as emperor.
Buckingham Palace said the pair’s engagement would “focus on a theme designed to celebrate the best of Australia… while also reflecting aspects of the King and Queen’s work”.
Charles and Camilla arrived in Australia on the evening of Friday, October 18.
Charles, 75, returned to public appearances in early May after being diagnosed with cancer in February.
