“La Dolce Villa Follows successful businessman Eric as he travels to Italy to stop his daydreaming daughter Olivia from spending her life savings restoring a crumbling villa he bought for €1. However, Italy has different plans for him as he delivers on his famous promise of beauty, magic and romance.
The story of the film is largely reminiscent of the 2020 film made in Italy Starring Liam Neeson, which also sees them visit Italy, albeit under very different circumstances. At the time of writing, that film is currently streaming in the US.
The film has a TV-PG rating with a runtime of 1 hour and 39 minutes.

“Looking for my next film, saw Tuscany for the first time, in completely the wrong way – freezing cold, rushing around in the van, getting out to see the beautiful jewels of the cities. “Too big” “Too small” “Don’t like sidewalks.” Hopefully the shooting will be more spectacular…”

Filming of the film began in early March 2024, and is expected to be completed by early May 2024, with the film reportedly having a budget of less than $10 million. The film was primarily shot throughout the region of Tuscany (e.g. eastern Lazio).
