Dream Home contestant Lara was struggling to find her mojo on Monday night’s episode as the pressure began to build.
Lara and her partner Peter are now part of the renovation team looking at Punchbowl couple Jordan and Jacinta’s dilapidated old home in Sydney.

After an assessment team discovered the house was both structurally unsound and riddled with asbestos, the house was completely demolished.
That meant the Dream Home couples were literally starting from scratch, with not even a basic frame to work with.
On top of that, a classic Sydney downpour turned the building site into a soggy, muddy mess — and the build start was delayed by an agonising four days.
“It looks like a three-day festival’s just taken place,” Lara said of the building site.
Lara became increasingly anxious, worried that she would not be able to give Jordan and Jacinta the Dream Home they wanted.
“We should be giving Jordan and Jacinta what they deserve, so it’s like the worst situation,” she said as the team was sent home from the site, unable to start work.
“Maybe Jacinta and Jordan won’t get their Dream Home.
“So yeah, the panic is starting to build up again.”
As things finally got underway, Lara was hanging on by a thread.
“I just feel like I’m out of ideas, I’m out of being creative,” a tearful Lara said.
“I just don’t know if I can do it.
“We just want our backyard done so bad, but I also really want to make Jacinta and Jordan’s Dream Home.”
Even though the finish line was fast approaching, for Lara it was beginning to feel further away than ever.
Now that she and Peter were teamed up with new couples, she was missing her former renovation buddies Rhys and Liam and Brad and Mel.
“They’re our support people,” she said.
“We don’t really have any support people here, so that makes it even harder.”
Even the usually fun task of going shopping for furniture couldn’t excite Lara — until she got a surprise visit from Mel, who gave her a much-needed hug and a pep talk.
“I needed a cuddle so badly,” Lara told Mel.
“I’m just finding it so hard.”
Mel encouraged Lara to keep going.
“You’ve got interior design within you, you’ve just got it,” Mel said.
“I know that you think that you don’t, I know that you think it’s really hard, I know you think all of those things.
“I’m telling you, you’ve got it within you.”
Lara was feeling better about things after Mel’s pep talk.
“I love Mel so much,” Lara said in a separate to-camera interview.
“It’s given me a little skip in the step.
“When you see someone who genuinely cares about you, you can feel it in a cuddle, and I felt it.
“Brad and Mel have our back, and we’ve felt it from day one.”
Dream Home continues Tuesday 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
