Like in Mirzapur, gangsters abound in plenty in this engrossing crime drama series starring Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Anya Taylor-Joy and others. The show is set in 1920s Birmingham. Tommy Shelby (Murphy) and his brothers, all newly returned post serving in World War I, start a notorious gang called the ‘Peaky Blinders’, where they (illegally) take over the administration of the city, and set their sights, next, on London. However, the road to glory comes with its fair share of (bloodied) obstacles.
