One person was killed and another injured in a double shooting Saturday night in Chinatown – not far from police headquarters.
According to the NYPD, the shooting occurred in the Two Brides neighborhood between Madison St. and St. James Place in Manhattan at approximately 7:26 p.m., leaving two people shot.
Both victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital, where one was initially pronounced dead in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the neck.
The second victim, who was shot in the buttocks, is in stable condition, police said.
According to police, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
