A man has been found dead after a Queens apartment fire early Sunday morning, authorities said.
The body of the man, whose identity has not been released, was found inside the home on 190th Lane between 192nd Street and 69th Avenue in Fresh Meadows after firefighters extinguished the fire, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7:15 a.m., the department said.
The FDNY representative said the flames were brought under control within 30 minutes and the body was soon found inside.
Photos from the scene showed the body being carried out of the 12-apartment complex on a stretcher.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, nor are any other details regarding the man’s death.
