Actor Marlon Wayans, 51, is lashing out against his new babys mother Brittany Moreland, 34, for daring to get the child support that she’s legally entitled under the law, Media Take Out has learned.
As Media Take Out reported, Brittany, a registered nurse in Los Angeles, recently filed for full legal and physical custody of their daughter Axl. She’s also asking for $22,000 a month in child support.
While that sounds like a lot of money – it’s less than 10% of Marlon’s monthly income. And it’s about what she’s legally entitled to under California law, Media Take Out confirmed.
Also, keep in mind that Brittany, who worked as a registered nurse, had to take time off of work – and will have to adjust her future work schedule in order to take care of their child.
Marlon is steaming mad the Brittany is daring to take him to court, to get a court ruling forcing Marlon to pay what he’s legally required to.
In a recent interview, Marlon confirmed that he is the baby’s father and expressed his frustration over the lawsuit as his ex should be happy to be getting the $18,000 in child support he is already paying.
He explained, “The baby isn’t a secret,’ Wayans said, confirming he is Axl’s father. ‘The mama has been posted, but I chose to keep the baby’s private life private.
‘It’s the classic case of a good, loving, responsible father shelling out over $18,000 per month for a one-year-old, and an entitled woman decides she wants more,’ he said. ‘My mama and dem would’ve lost their minds for $2,000.
Marlon also added, ‘Social media is toxic and dangerous, and I’d like to keep her peace.”
