burn! Martha Stewart doesn’t think Ryan Reynolds is very funny.
Although Reynolds, 48, is known for his comedic acting roles, he lacks a sense of humor, according to Stewart, 83, who is also the “Deadpool and Wolverine” star’s neighbor.
The iconic housewife appeared as a special guest and expressed her thoughts on Reynolds Built Rewards‘ November “Rent Free” game show. The game show, similar to “Family Feud,” is streamed on the credit card company’s mobile app.
When Stewart was asked which celebrities she thought would be the most fun for survey respondents to hang out with, she told Built CEO and Founder Ankur Jain, 34, that she believed her close friends would be the most fun. Snoop Dogg tops this list.
The Cookbook Queen then said that Reynolds would also likely be a popular choice.
“He’s probably on the list just because he hides himself in his movies and you don’t see his face – Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” Stewart inquired.
“And you want to know something? He’s not that funny in real life,” he added. “No, he’s not that funny. He is very serious.”
Stewart further said that she would choose Brad Pitt and George Clooney because “I would love to hang out with those guys.”
When Zayn tossed Taylor Swift’s name into the mix, Stewart was totally over the “Fortnite” singer. “I was only thinking about men,” she said, explaining why she didn’t reveal his name. “Taylor Swift is lovely.”
With Taylor in mind, Stewart placed Swift at the top of her list, with Snoop Dogg in second place.
“Then I’ll take Ryan out of it and put someone else in,” she said.
When asked by Jan who she would like to add, Stewart replied, “George Clooney, because he’s fun. It’s really fun to hang out with George.”
When Zayn told Stewart he was surprised he didn’t find Reynolds funny, he provided some additional context for his opinion.
“He’s a good actor,” he said. “He can act funny, but he’s not funny. “Maybe he can be funny again.”
Perhaps sensing that her comments would generate interest, she said, “I’m going to be in trouble. He is my neighbor.”
Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, 37, have a home near Stewart’s famous farm in Bedford, New York.
